The National Collaborative on Gun Violence Research: Five Years of Accomplishments
Aug 6, 2024
Our mission is to fund and disseminate nonpartisan, scientific research that offers the public and policymakers a factual basis for developing fair and effective gun policies.
More than $2 million has been awarded to five projects examining extreme risk protection orders (ERPOs), also known as red flag laws.
Funders receive regular updates on the collaborative’s investments and performance. They contribute to the growth of science in this critically important but neglected policy area, and will help grow the network of organizations and funders dedicated to research on gun violence.
